FIELD TRIPS
Parents will be notified in writing, 48 hours in advance of any field trips. We will also post a notice on the entry table, informing you of the time and location of the trip. The parent must grant permission for the child to be transported on the enrollment agreement. Asbury House transports the children by using vans owned by the Methodist churches. All safety precautions are taken to ensure your child's safety. All three-year-olds and children fewer than 36 inches must use a booster seat. All children will wear safety belts. The child/staff ratios set by our licensing standards will be met. The staff will take the first aid supplies and each child's medical authorization form on the trip. The staff will take cell phones, in case of an emergency. The children will wear their Asbury House t-shirts on field trips. The school will provide these shirts and the children will be changed into their Asbury House shirt after arriving at the school.
